Is the firmware on the davinchi jr also hackable with marlin like the 1.0 have someone asking about trouble with NFC chips on a jr.

The stock DaVinci Jr. firmware is not hackable. The link below is a good resource for hacking the DVJr. I converted a DVjr. to RAMPS and a E3D V6 clone.
