Is there a list of recommended parts which are suitable to complete the truggy when it is printed?
@Daniel_Noree i think you should sticky a link to a list of the Hobbyking parts we worked out a while ago, if you still have that.
Isn’t there a list of non hobbyking parts? I am looking for the most reliable not the cheapest
Well, for that matter, you’re not restricted to one specific set of parts. It’s a standard 1/10th scale truggy, so any parts that are suitable for other 1/10th truggies will work as well. Keep in mind, though, that most reliable will easily be upwards of $500 for a complete set of electronics.
Afaik, Daniel uses Hobbyking parts and is very happy with them.
@Alexander_Meis @Thomas_Sanladerer I´ll look into this during the holidays, there are some recommendations here and there both from HobbyKing & RC Mart but also from places like AmainHobbies and others.
Lot´s of peoplae have been asking for Bom´s and other documentation lately so i´ll try to fix this asap.
Also, it´s been suggested before to set up some categories here and maybe it´s time now. Any suggestions? Something like “Electronics”, “Printing”, “Documentation” “Sourcing of parts”…?
Please let me know what you guys think.
@Daniel_Noree That would be great! sharing print resolution/speed. also share more or less complete lists of bearings and links/item number to where you/others got them. I don’t think this would bee too hard for you to publish. i suppose you have it already, in case something breaks !?
@Dag_Elias_Sordal on a sidenote, i get all my bearings from http://www.kullagergrossisten.se They are a great supplier for bearings and RC Stuff. I’m sure they ship to Norway aswell!
OK, here´s a draft of a BOM including parts i have on my car: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7TCLh-I8q6Yc1lBajN0dnA2Z2c/edit?usp=sharing
