Is there a way to get fastled to work with the falcon f16v2-r or pixlite16 or with dmx/artnet in general

Not exactly what you are asking for but there are quite a few examples of using the ESP8266 with artnet/dmx.

So far i have not found a specific example using the FastLed library and artnet/dmx. Now that I have my LEDS working artnet/dmx is on my to do list. Pretty sure it can be made to work the only problems I foresee are shared resource conflicts mainly with the interrupts. Good luck with your project.
