Is there any risk in running steppers that where previously run at 24V with a new 48V power supply and new stepper drivers configured to deliver the same amperage as the original ones?

I’m currently upgrading a cheap, Chinese CNC to new electronics so it no longer looses steps due to lots of electrical noise.

Pretty sure there’s no harm in it.

Plus it should improve your torque at high rpms.
