A concept of a 3d printed car that might assemble itself. Design != Implementation. Not really interested ubless they have an actual basic prototype.
Really, these ‘cool designs’ are pointless. I could draw a picture of a Cow fused to a stove and go “A cow that cooks itself into hamburgers?!”
We believe the idea needs more refinement, but it’s a good concept overall.

That’s a bit of a stretch to to call it ‘self assembling’. It’s a bit like saying your trashcan is ‘self cleaning’ when you take out the trash.
@Hans_Franke “good” is not only the idea, but also what and how you execute the idea. We’re glad to see that products are evolving and so are manufacturing processes. This might not be a perfect concept fully detailed, but it’s a start. It’s better than… nothing.

so its a “terminator” car lol … u get into a car crash (u survive hopefully), the car fixes itself … and continue the drive?
then again, this car will then beat the cheapest car in the world (hopefully)
