Isn’t it great to finally dial in your printer to the point where you can just send it a print and walk away? I bought my printer almost 3 years ago, and finally have it at a point where I’m extremely happy with the results (you are selling some excellent machines for the price @Brook_Drumm , especially for students), and repeatability of those results. I’m working on the side to try and give it dual extruders (y-splitter, not 2 hotends), but having the printer so dialed in, I’m tempted to leave it alone for awhile xD. Also been working on this school project for a long time, where we have to design and produce a catapult which can lodge a predetermined projectile to set distances. I am the only one I’m my class with a 3D printer (Lucky me) and have decided to make it rather complicated, only because I can. I will update the community with the print once its complete, but I’m just so excited that I have sent the printer like 10+ prints in a row, and it just keeps spitting out great prints that i thought i should share.
On a side note, I have not had any issues with Hatchbox pla so if you are looking for decent cheap pla, cant get much better at $20 CAD on amazon. Used to use the Printrbot stuff sold through BuyaPi, but it has been out of stuck for a good while, so this will do.

I’m two weeks In?

@DayRider76 well its a learning curve for sure, but I also wasn’t going at it non stop, and I was heavily modifying my printer as well

@Matthew_Del_Rosso I just did the manufacturers marlin recommendations? For finalizing the setup. My kossel just ripped itself apart? Now the board won’t take commands from marlin and the screen is blank. Happy joy

@DayRider76 ya, that happened to me a few times, can you explain what exactly happened?

@Matthew_Del_Rosso well , I went through the initial setup, had the printer responding to commands and printing. I was trying to tune in the settings with no effect? Still laid the same print, I could change the perimeters, speed, ect. But other things didn’t seem right, so I rechecked the set up on the card and started rechecking all of my work. That’s when I seen a new file directing me to bring up ardreno, marlin to set up the board?

@DayRider76 the first thing I would check is if the board still connects to a computer, if not you will need a board because that one is probably dead

I ran through all of the steps line by line, watched some vids, it told me to change z axis from 200 to 310,(it said 0) when I changed it? then bring up repeater and home. I had my mouse on kill, didn’t work, z shot all of the way doun and pulled the rods😂now the screen is blank and marlin says ? Hang on

Board connects! No prob. I think I can reverse the stepper wiring and have it go the right way. But

Error compiling for Board? I’m a tinkerer. I have a kossel mini and a creality ender4 core xy. If you could give me some board recommendations I would be grateful. I have windows 10 on a amd quad core with 2×2t hard drive, I’ve got the power, just didn’t realize the compatibility issues? Don’t worry, just as bad with cars, waaay to much cam for the heads?
