Iteration 4 of my bed adjusting hardware has me handmaking 3/16" grub screws with 0.5 mm threads and 3 mm hex sockets. Perverse and not recommended, but bizarrely justified by existing parts (indexed thumbnuts for one).
Looks nice. Seeing reminds me that I would like to get a dividing head.
My home lathe is a Sherline and the CNC capable rotary table is a pretty incredible piece of hardware. Highly recommended even if you don’t have a Sherline.
I have an old 9" South Bend lathe that also has a milling vise attachment. I am in the process of building a starter cnc router. At some point after that I will address the rotary table question.
