It’s been a while since I’ve posted, I can’t believe how much I’ve missed!! And the number of members has almost doubled! Here’s a little project I just finished, it’s a tiny controller with a rotary encoder that adjusts the global brightness. There’s a button built into the encoder that selects the patterns and toggles on and off the timer to cycle to the next mode. this one is for my girlfriend but i’m going to make another for myself for the Christmas lights in my bedroom. Fun stuff.
Thumbnail preview looks cool, but can’t view the video. G+ is bad about that sometimes, it’s usually available later, after a delay.
Have you found a good source for those strings? Are they C7? Shipping seems expensive for all that I’ve found on eBay and AliExpress.
Yeah I can’t get it to work either, if it still doesn’t work in an hour or so i’ll try posting it again. Unfortunately no… They’re $50+ for a 50 LED string everywhere I look. 
now that it’s closer to Christmas time they’ve raised the price too, I paid $59 for each of the three strings I have… Now the same listing is $74!!! Ugh! They’re C9s
