It’s been lying around for decades and now when i need it, the back part has disappeared.

What to do. Well to avoid wasting it and spending time waiting for one from some online store, I decided to design a new part and mill it on my MaxNC10. I did this in 6mm birch plywood in two tiny parts glued together.

What do you think. I think it went alright.

It looks pretty nice. I can sort of see this becoming a trend. :slight_smile:

The fit is very accurate. I was quite surprised that the back needs the exact right squeeze by hand to fit onto the plug.
