I added @Adafruit_Industries FX sound board and a transducer to the house number project I did a couple months back.
The spark core can control the module by dropping the selected pin to ground. There’s about 20~25 sound clips. (Video games, TV Shows from the 80s & 90s etc…) with a matching light pattern.
All controlled by @SmartThings via the mobile app and can be triggered automatically depending what mode the house is in.
Hmmm…it could make barking noises if someone goes on your porch if a motion sensor is used

All the motion, front door open/closed me or anyone of the family comes home functions are controlled by smartthings.
So right now, When I come home it plays the theme song for airwolf. For the Wife it plays the animaniacs theme song (which the matching visual effects via the LEDs). Anyone else it plays the tricorder sound effect.

No. I have presence tags associated to smartthings. There is one on each of our car keys. It can detect when we come and go. And there are motion sensors in and outside the house.
So basically, If arrival at home + motion at the door = me, Then do this. Which in this case is trigger the house lights to play airwolf and play a led pattern.
It can do other things like turn on the exterior lights at sunset. Turn off lights in room with no activity for a specified time, Turn on the drain pump if water it detected in the crawl space… etc…
