Its rather annoying. Printed and delivered a print ordered from 3dhubs a day earlier than promised. After not only printing the original model. But seeing a problem and redrawing it and printing the alternate one as well. Guy collected happy, no comeback. You think he’ll click the button to release the payment. At least it’s a 4 day automatic release, but damn have some appreciation for a job done as requested.

I have mine at a 10 day release and the same thing has happened. I love 3D hubs but sometimes it gets on my nerves…

Customers; can’t live with 'em, can’t live without 'em.

The most annoying part is I have orders out for like the next month and Marvin is like “hey is this still active” and I’m like “it’s over 100 hours for each order Marvin, calm down”.

One thing I can’t figure out, is that I have an order that the buyer no longer wants me to print and wants me to decline but I think that will affect my hub negatively, correct?

@Justin_Nesselrotte that’s my worry too. I don’t think the hub should be the one to decline. I’ve had two like that in be last two weeks and neither were my fault.

What kinda stuff are you printing over 100 hours?? I’ve done one order that long but it was keychains.

If someone is building a RepRap or other machine, I offer substantial discounts. I print the mostly printed CNC for $80, when my hub price itself is IIRC over $300. And it takes a while. The print that’s running right now is at the 26h 20m mark and it’s 89% done.

The #1 reason I havn’t started time sharing my small army of printers… People.
