I’ve adapted the 8 bit Perlin example into my code and it looks really good on the “big screen”. What’s extra fun is adjusting the “scale” factor in real time with a pot

Oh excellent! I ran/hosted the Meat Beat Manifesto mailing list for … er, about 15 years (then it may have moved to yahoo or google groups? Or maybe it split and it’s still running on my server, hmmm) and all things Jack Dangers came across that mailing list, so as soon as I saw the bit about Drums of Death I grabbed it. It comes up often in my music rotation, and in fact was in play this morning.
You might be the first person i’ve run into who I didn’t know through that list who has the album, though
I picked it up when a mate gave me a voucher for a record store that was having a closing down sale. I won’t say it’s my favourite album ever but it’s certainly interesting.
