I’ve been watching LaserWeb for a long time, with the intention of someday using it with my plotters. (I’ve been using GRBLWeb for the last few years). The recent plotting related posts by @Ariel_Yahni_UniKpty and @cprezzi finally got me to download LaserWeb4 and give it a try. After a reasonable amount of head scratching, I’ve gotten some results to show.
What you see plotted is a weird wireframe I made with Blender and the cool Tissue add-on – http://www.co-de-it.com/wordpress/code/blender-tissue
I haven’t gotten LW4 completely figured out yet, but I’ll have fun getting there. Thanks devs!
Awesome job and I want you plotter
@kongorilla What process do you use to make the wire frame designs?? I’ve been struggling with this for a hot minute now…
@Arion_McCartney I use various modeling techniques in Blender, and then export an SVG of the scene using Blender’s built-in Freestyle renderer – https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/dev/render/freestyle/index.html
@kongorilla Thanks for the info! Blender looks complicated so this may take some learning on my part!
@kongorilla Where can I find the plotter design?
@Jose_Antonio_Vacas_M Only on my hard drive. It was a proof-of-concept, and I would do things differently for a v2, or a design I’d make public. This flickr post has a discussion about the design and why I’m disinclined to publish the files (and it has a video of the plotter in action):

Thanks a lot for the info
