I’ve just rebuilt the XY Stage on the FB2020+ due to old cracked parts, they’ve been cracked for a long time but not got around to sorting it until the belt clips gave out a day or so ago after trying to re-tension the belts. I’ve also found a very cheap source of Hatchbox filaments here in the UK (£18/kg) so what a better time to test the printer and filament together. Aztec Chief in Hatchbox Pink (personally I’d call it screaming hot pink :p) PLA at 0.28mm layer height. I think at this point I can say nailed it…

I would 100% agree with that assertion! That is one fine looking, very clean, hot pink aztec chief!! It looks like you have really good part cooling, most of the saggy parts look great…
What speed, jerrk, and acceleration do you run at?
@Stephanie_A - Generally between 60- 80mm/s with slow downs, jerk set to 12, Acceleration is 3600. This was at 80, iirc.
That’s really good, no noticeable signs of ringing.
Thanks. It’s taken 3 iterational builds of the FB2020 to get to this, I’ve actually just shoved the Linear bearings back in as I couldn’t be arsed to print a new set of nylon bushings, which I’ve found doesn’t make much difference at at al apart from a small amount of noise. It’s mainly making sure the belts are tensioned correctly and the Y Rods are parallel that’s been sorted with the new 340mm rods and mounts, no measuring needed. This is Marlin, so I’m quite surprised it did come out like this due to the abrupt pathing compared to Smoothie. The Printer with the Re-Arm could go faster and probably give just as good a print.
