I’ve printed my first cube with my Mendelmax. It’s taken months to get all the parts but it went together fairly easily.

Is that a 20mm cube? What is the cause of all those ridges? Is this the very first print out from under the wrench? Overall it looks very good, aside from some calibration perhaps.

Looks to me like the X carriage is held on by zipties and the LM8UUs resting against 2 screws? The carriage is also one of those V slot deals? J-head could also be loose. Wiggle everything, tighten up anything that’s loose.

Yes it’s the first time I’ve managed to get it to print anything beyhond the first layer.

I had a parts missmatch - I need to print somthing that will attach the LM8UUs to the carrage. I think it can make somthing that’ll do the job for now.

Looks like overextrusion on the cube?
