I’ve rebuilt my Ordish Bot, replacing some of the 3D parts printed on my old Cupcake with self-printed ones, and converted my extruder to a Bowden setup. I haven’t got the bed completely trammed yet and my retraction parameters need more adjusting (you may notice a few strings
) But these two negatives turned into a positive. Because the bed wasn’t quite trammed the back right corner was lower, so the first layer eventually came unstuck from the bed. It flopped around for a few layers but eventually the strings bonded it to the rest of the print. That part is no good (warped) but I managed to save the rest of the plate. Success!(?)
Bed is dialled in now, and added a little more retraction. I’m brave and printing all the parts for my replacement 2up extruder at once
