neat to see this… it is just me or does the water only go through those two holes into the outer casing? Or do those holes open up into a larger area?

@James_Newton ​ you are right. Only outer stainless steel casting(?) is watercooled. There are two rubber orings on top. In this spindle upper cover was tinny loose and water went into upper bearing what distroyed it.

Would you say that it’s possible to pull apart and rebuild with out damaging, say if you had bad bearings.

Did your earth pin go no where? Mine did

@Paul_Shaw Rebuilding it without damaging is totally possible and doable. If you follow my photos you can do it without problems.
Earth pin goes nowhere. I think that grounding is provided by machine itself(like it should be). So if you don’t have grounded machine, you should because spindle isn’t.

@Pawel_Dobrowolski I changed my cable to connect the ground pin to the case because that’s the single point, where the machine is grounded.
