Stupid judge.

Japan has accepted the Kanamara Matsuri penis festival for many decades, where truly massive penises are carted around at public celebrations.

Yet Megumi Igarashi cannot trade in depictions of female genitals! Why the double standard?

Considering what happens in public at Kanamara Matsuri, the judge is just being hypocritical.

@william_foster Yep. It’s a story from a few years back.

This is just the verdict from the trial, which took ages and ages to arrive. And since she is appealing the judges decision, we haven’t heard the last of this either.

I have been to Japan many, many times, but I have never been to Kawasaki in April for the penis festival. Maybe one day I will go and see the festival for myself…
