Joe Spanier , Peter van der Walt is there a decent free screen

@Joe_Spanier , +Peter van der Walt is there a decent free screen capture software that would allow me to do some how-to process an image tutorials for the laser and setup in laserweb?

I like and can recommend camstudio, all of my “on computer” recordings on youtube have used it.

Thanks @Kyo_Shinohara appreciate it you have some pretty good videos

We really like OBS (https://obsproject.com/).
It allows many inputs such as screen, camera1, camera2 etc simultaneously.

Great for showing the screen, you and the laser machine running at the same time.

@Alex_Krause Thanks, I am learning as I go  @Domenic_Di_Giorgio1 thanks for posting that link. I have not heard of it. Looks pretty cool. I bookmarked to read latter.

Just add LICEcap for a good measure. It’s open source, free and allow to record animated gif. Very useful for complex steps. I think there is a version for Windows, Mac and Linux.

I use hangouts on air alot because I dont have to fiddle with things afterwards. I cant find the one I used to use. Ill look tomorrow. It was free and cross platform

On linux, I use recordmydesktop
