JP33 - Full continuity when powered

All the pins on the JP-33 header have full continuity with ground only when 5V is applied to the board (with & without the Dc-Dc converter). I’ve been having massive troubles with the board controlling the laser ( can’t get it to fire the laser at all) and am starting to think my board may be faulty. Any ideas?

Which is JP33 ?

It’s the header with a ground pin, p2.7, p2.4, p2.5, p2.6. I’m building a laser cutter with a TH TL WP G IN 5V power supply but cannot for the life of me get the laser to fire through PWM. Here’s what I’ve done:

Since I’m having issues with p2.5, I ran P3.25, a ground, and 3.3V through a level shifter but this won’t fire the laser. I’ve only got the laser to fire through a test switch (alternatively through an active low switch module) between TL & G. What’s the best way to get help on this? Should I post up my configuration & wiring diagram?

Did you read the PSU’s documentation ? If you want to do PWM control, you *also* need to enable the laser via TL. Doing just one won’t work.

Unfortunately the documentation is quite sparse for the PSU. It did make sense to me that TL needed to be enabled but I was a bit confused because the laser cutter guide said you only need a PWM signal and a ground.

How does one properly enable TL? When I attempted this with an active low switch module run through the shift converter, the commands either turned the laser on at 100% power, or turned it off. G0, G1, S, all had no effect with the module effectively acting as a test switch.
