Just as @Richard_Horne uploads his BCN3D Sigma (2016) upgrade video, I finish the review of the Sigma R17. What a coincidence

Very useful and righteous §review. Good work, Thomas. (I was curious, how strong competitor UM3 has right now. So we will se during Q2 after Sigma settles a bit.) Vibrating bed looks almost ready for redesign, doesn’t it?

@Tomas_Vit it’s not the first time I’ve seen a cantilever bed shake like this. It’s almost like the UM is right at the edge of how far you can push that design, anything larger is probably best off with a different solution.

I love the new diamond Tom’s logo and accompanying effect.

@ThantiK thanks! Took a bunch of work, but the polygon pattern now is accurate in both geometry and lighting. It’s based on an actual stl mesh, after all

Great first look Tom @Thomas_Sanladerer - The new channel graphics look fantastic. Looking forward to the next review? of the Sigma R17. And I totally agree with you on the Cura integration issues. I have an every growing backlog of video’s to edit… the Sigma 2016 upgrades should have been up in December :frowning: It is interesting to see how the 2016 and the R17 compare. Many things are the same, but it’s good to see that BCN3D are constantly evolving this machine.
