I just realized how big the ‘mini’ components really are…I think this one should get a MotorAir controller or maybe something Arduino-y with BT control and an Airsoft turret.
One of what I am thinking of doing is running Lynxmotion SSC-32U Bluetooth Servo Controller. The reason is that it runs 32 servos so I can do more than just roll forward and backward. I want to be able to run a turret off this. However, most of the time, these tanks use ordinary geared (or ungeared) motors. Does anyone think the SSC-32U will support combinations of motor types let alone straight 2-wire motors?
One of the controllers we tried had support for a third channel for a trigger mechanism w a servo 
s GoPro or phone mount would be kinda cool
Can you point me to that controller? Why did you decide not to use it given the potential for expansion?
We tried a pololu ($100), a sabertooth 2x12 ($65) and an eBay cheapie… Just to get some context and wide range of experience.
The difference is in the features, output, what it can power in addition to motors… We went with the sabertooth for 3 of ours.
Sabertooth and Pololu only handle 2 channels. Which ebay one?
I thought the pololu one had a third…, maybe I referenced the wrong model.
