Just finished a new temporary public art project for a downtown Denver park… 64" in diameter, printed with ProtoParadigm clear PLA in 45 pieces, 160 warm white addressable LEDs line the interior and act as a low-res display showing the perimeter or corona of the Sun as seen from the video from NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory, and it is all solar powered.
It glows~
Nice!
Where’s the installation? I’ll ride down to see it. That’s really cool.
Nifty.
Wow!
Wherein Denver is that? That’s pretty cool.
Hows that art?
@Matthew_Gutierrez really? Or just trolling?
Thanks all… the piece is located in Sustainability Park between the working farm and the sustainable architecture. Thats on 25th between Arapahoe and Lawrence. They are still trying to figure out the hours as the park is often locked after 5pm but Im pretty sure there are ways into it. Definitely the most epic thing Ive ever made on a 3d printer.
@Brian_Evans epic btw
Trollin :]
303!
