Just finished overhauling my cobblebot vanguard and calibrating and printed this. Its not the quality I was looking for and I’m not sure what to do next. Any suggestions for hardware or software changes? My extruder is a taz model geared wade with a 3d CAM e3d v6 replica.

You look like you’re overextruding something fierce. Did you properly calculate your e-steps-per-mm?

I thought so, but I may be extruding inconsistently

If you’re calibrating the filament extrusion, do so without the hot end attached. Any obstruction or failure in feeding can cause your calibration to be way off.

Do you think the only problem is over extrusion

Fix one problem at a time. You can’t fix 6 different problems at once, because they can mask other issues. I do think overextrusion is your largest issue right now though.

Also looks like your Z axis is wobbling. You might look to tighten that. Look at the cobblebot community here - there are some designs that improve upon the design.

Did you do the re-designed parts for the gantry?
