Congrats! I remember it took me for ever - burned first LCD by inserting cables the wrong way (if you manage to plug it upside down, you get +12v instead of +5), then had to get a replacement all the way from China, resolder it, but from then on - life’s good

I have not used Marlin yet. I hear good things, but tried Repetier out of the gate.
Repetier has worked so well I am not sure what better would be, i guess.
I have not used Marlin. I have used Repetier and had times when it is utterly stuck after starting up and some occasions where I have to restart the printer to get it to work. Of course it could be that I have something wrong with my power supply or RAMBO board or LCD driver board and stuff is just malfunctioning on a hardware level. From time to time, I think my 3D printer is cursed. lol Or worse yet, maybe I am cursed. lol
