Just got some dotstar strips to play with! I was looking at the Adafruit dotstar intro page and FastLED is mentioned and linked. (Not my doing this time… ). Yay!
I’m getting ready to play with POV with these… Any libraries or pointers or tips? I have never coded for persistence of vision stuff before.
doing exact same thing at the moment, would love to get a test going w/o SD card needed. Currently trying to extrapolate code needed to do POV only from an example. Have you had any luck with this?
Actually, it just seems to be working on its own. I’m using Andrew Tuline’s sin wave demo code and setting the delay to 0, and the POV just… works. I don’t understand it. But I sure do like it.
