Just had to share this. Started taking one of the 3D touch printers apart.

Took 45 min to remove the extruders & hotends. Just this alone weighs over 4lbs!? That doesn’t include the 20 screws, 5 fans, and CNC’d carriages…can you imagine the 3 extruder setup?

Thanks for posting the link @George_Georgiou , I didn’t see that part when I’d searched the site last week. I’ve essentially torn one down and am going to re-do the gantry to hold a titan aero. It’s like stripping dead weight off a car. The whole printer weighs over 80lbs.

I’ve got one collecting dust. Titan Aero sounds a good choice.

@George_Georgiou , I’ll post the files once done. I’m planning on putting pen to paper sometime today to figure it out. I’m going to do the whole gantry (hotend holder, inductive sensor, & Y axis bearing holders).

I’ve tossed the power supply and printer board as well.
