Just made an entry on thingiverse.

Please write more to the post than just a link to an object.

why?

Because our community rules (the link can be found on our community page), a post that’s just a share (this also applies to links outside of the community) should be removed. Information that would be useful to know would be things like if you printed it yourself, did you design it, what problem does it solve, etc.

hmm I see no rule about just links. Now I really do not think anything would be gained by me writing it’s a spool holder for ultimaker as its already promptly displayed. Or ?? is it not a picture and the text

" kenjo 3d printed Universal Ultimaker 2 Spool Holder by undevikjur"

do google+ display differently on other browsers??

And the link is to a post of what I needed to do to make the print work so I guess I could copy past all the text and remove the link but that would loose much of the information like who actually made the design and so on.

Sure, but the point is that we’re not just a share bin. Here, let me tag another mod to get their opinion. @ThantiK

If you can’t think of anything to say about why you’re sharing it, who the author is, etc – then it’s not worth sharing. Is this a print you did? A picture of your design? What?

Edit: Thanks!

I found that one on YouMagine weeks ago and am currently testing an improved version. I can’t imagine it wasn’t on Thingiverse already.

@Kenneth_Johansson I just printed Robert’s design from Youmagine (https://www.youmagine.com/designs/low-friction-um2-spoolholder) and it seems to be a perfect fit.
How have you improved it?
