Just now starting to finish my build, and ran into an odd problem.

Anyone with an M1 Pro board run into an issue where the limit switches are open when the system is powered off, but close once the board is powered up?

I can’t home right now because the system thinks it is hitting the limit switches in 2 of my axis. The only thing different about them is that the one axis has isolated wiring, I didn’t run it through the stepper bundle.

Any ideas, I am running the limit switch wires through a ferrite ring, maybe I should run the stepper motors through one?

I saw in a video by Brandon I think that he had some capacitors in his switches, I tried the same thing, and they worked like a charm.

Now to configure bCNC to do what I want it to.

Suspect I have the same problem…but no capacitors. Can you identify part numbers on capacitors?

I used some 24V 10 uf caps I had from another project.

Hmmm not up on cap identication…can you supply a part number or picture… and then hit one of the local electronic shops.

Here is the same brand I used, or they look the same. It is an assortment, and a bit much if you only need 3. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y5LD3JP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_N0RXAbNX3DHJC

I also looked it up on digikey and found these.
