Just off the printer. A one off cake topper for a navy wedding. Designed to look a bit like an old ship. The design was done in house using Rhino CAD, Printed in 720 Semi transparent. All the support material has been carefully removed and it’s now ready for a coat of silver spray paint.
Very nice.
Thanks Anthony
Is that resin and paint known to be safe for food contact?
Hi Jeff,
Good spot! The part is dipped in wax, up to the shoulder on the legs; just visible in the photo. This is food safe :).
What printer did you used? The resolution on that print is crazy, do you mind sharing?
How the hell do you print like that?! I couldn’t even dream of getting a print that looks even half this good.
Nice! Isn’t 720 a resin used by the objet?
@lightshadown Hi it was printed on an Objet eden 350 v
