Just received tungsten nozzle from kickstarter campaign
And whats the diference? Does it support more wear than stainless steel?
According to producer Yes. And transfers heat better than hardened steel. But really I had not the chance to try it yet.
I got mine too. The huge chamfer on the back of the part will probably cold pulls impossible on an E3D. So I’m not sure what to do.
Of note, I checked the Kickstarter photos and renderings had so many variations between small and large chamfer that I should have just taken the hint and not backed it.
I had no possibility to try it yet. Printer is not working and I have no time this period. I’ve other hot end options at home. an hexagon too. According to kickstarter was supposed to work on E3D hot ends. Did anybody tried it yet?
I’m sure it will work, but as I said, cold pulls would be impossible.
