Just set up my octopi yesterday and put on a 13 hour print. Came back in the morning to find that the print had stopped Midway through. Looked at terminal (pictured below). Has anyone encountered this problem and if so how do I fix it?
That can happen for a number of reasons, like e.g. on a Prusa the printer might stop midprint due to thermal-issues and Octoprint would just see it as a communication timeout. You need to look at what happened when Octoprint first encountered the error.
Thanks, if it happens again I will see if I can find the initial error. In addition I changed a few settings in octopi that had to do with timeouts.
Basically, your printer stopped sending anything at all so hosts don’t know what to do and just time out
Is there a way to fix this or is it just a inevitable problem that I will have to work around?
I have a CR-10s just in case you know a solution
Find what the last command sent was, and go from there? It could be hardware, like a bad USB cable for example
