Just want to ensure nobody mistakes these guys as genuine E3D resellers: http://reprap.me/
They are wholesale copy-pasting our description, images, and were also using our trademark in a way that would easily mislead people into thinking they are genuine resellers. Which they aren’t.
If you’re going to clone something, at least bother to write your own description and take your own photos guys! Seriously lazy. http://reprap.me
@Reinhard_Barmonster Why Montenegro? Phone number on site shows +45 country code (that’s Denmark), whois http://reprap.me shows registrant to be http://reprap.nu, registrant email is from the http://mensa.dk domain. That looks like Denmark to me, plus the .me domain is about as fancy as .tv - no need to get geographical about it. @korpx - do you remember where your order came from? Just curious… @Sanjay_Mortimer1 never mind them, the Chinese are reproducing your design by the dosen, of which I am sure you are aware, but (even though I never bought one from them) I am sure they will never be able to reproduce it in all its beauty. Plus you always manage to keep them a couple of hops behind, with new and better versions. Keep up the good work! And please don’t take the blueprints off the website - one day I will lay my hands on a milling machine and make a replica. To test various nozzle orifice lengths
I bought a 1.75 j-head clone from them that turned out to be a 3mm j-head with a ptfe conversion tube. Compared to another j-head clone it had horrible performance, and compared to the e3d v6 I subsequently bought it really sucked.
Selling a 3mm j-head as a 1.75mm is really shady as the melting chamber/zone seems to be way too big.
@Oystein_Krog that’s the traditional J-head clone experience. I actually never saw a 1.75 J-head, they all seem to be equipped with a 2 mm ID tube. Mind you, I have never ordered the real thing - passed to making my own instead…
@Igor_Larine the drawings will always be up, don’t worry about that. I’m not so much concerned about them cloning it as I an about them using our images and our description to sell their product in a way that makes it very easy for people to mistake it for genuine stuff. Not only is it blatant false advertising but it could also reflect poorly on us.
