Just wanted to share some info about the inventor of the OX CNC and its parts.
And maybe you are interested in more open-source builds and products to build with your CNC Mill.

Welcome Marc and thx for the original open-builds resource and partstore

Open sourced builds are key to spread accessibility but without essential parts to build it, it just won’t work out.
So Marc Carew ( +MarcCarewOpenBuilds ) , also a member of the #open-source-world community right here, had more than just a thought about that. Back in 2012 and 2013 Marc successfully funded two kickstarter campaigns for his design of #linear-rails and #linear-motion systems and actuators especially for the maker und open-source DIY’er. Starting with a small online shop for the open-sourced parts, he also created and started a platform for sharing and contributing to the #open-builds world.

Build instructions, Bill-of-Materials and everything else you need to know to build your own projects and devices, sharing with the community and improving and developing together.
Marc himself also builds and shares his designs, like the OX CNC Machine, a CNC Mill based on open-parts #V-Slot Aluminum Extrusions. And there much more to discover yourself.

Almost great but that’s not all, Marc Carew is still designing and engineering more open-sourced parts because he believes in the same idea as we did, the more people get access, the more people get involved In and to essential knowledge and parts, the more open-source developments will get done by individuals all over the world, accelerating again and again. So he’s also involved in supporting open-source projects, but that’s another story we will come up with next time.
