Just wanted to show off my DIY geared dual drive extruder (bondtech style), completely 3d printed and with standart parts.
Wow that’s incredible, nice work
And the best thing is it worked, first try.
Love it. Can you show more about whats going on underneath the hood?
Can you add a sample picture of a print using your extruder? Will you release the files on Thingiverse?
Here is a picture of the CAD modell, with removed housing, the CAD file needs a bit of a clean up, the i will release the complete CAD files, (made with fusion 360), the big bearings are from a fidget spinner and the small ones are 688zz (8x16x5mm). The axles are cut from 5mm threaded rod.

These grey Spacers on the m5 rod are 3d printed with m5 thread in the middle.

@Benjamin_Deiss going to share some 3d prints pictures when iam back home in 2 weeks
And update on the CAD release? I would really like to build this myself.
I have to resolve some problems that occurred first, yesterday I printed something, and the second axle slid up and down in the ball bearing, and the whole thing essentially destroyed itself, but nothing thats unsolvable
iam going to massege you ehen I have released the files.
That’s great! Thanks!
@Sahil_Jain are you able to get 12mm outside diameter, 8mm an bore and 12mm high mk8 extruder drive gear and m5 threaded rod? Because iam using those now.missing/deleted image from Google+
I would prefer one of the standard mk8 drive gears, but I am comfortable with modifying the design
Do you have autodesk fusion 360?@Sahil_Jain
Yes
