Larger crane-style printer I found a friend working on this morning, I recognize the cheap chinese filament drive (it is REALLY bad; their tension adjustment mechanism is done super wrong) – Running the motor on top of the axis instead of bowden-ing it is a little odd.

exxential in cetus/printerbot version (no endstop for that flat start) , too much ghosting causing from glass not attached on magnets and acceleration too hight for X stepper. this afternoon clean nozzle no close fine and re-try (franky are 0.1 layer resolution)
HAHAHAH you don’t notice how i fix fan for clone v5 , for story that printer born/design/make in 3 day. Today hope have time to fix ghosting too . anyway really low budget and around 1mt of profile.
Anyway xyz use same system for moving nema 14 0.8a or 17 0.7A for XY and 1.7A for z and filament feeder (sorry no remeber fast torque value), surely not study for high acceleration but only for build it fast. for that use direct on carriage that strange/absurde but work…that what i need if sell printer surely no use that cheap items but surely i don’t denigrate that, not efficent at 100% but works for my study.
anyway on my FB have other video …during printing low quality because are a streaming and publish that on thingverse when think that are really complete…as #exxential.
