Largest surface printed on my "new" chassis.

Largest surface printed on my “new” chassis. eSun silver PLA, 0.7mm nozzle, 0.15mm layer height, 5h23’ estimated by cura at 65mm/s. The first layers look soooooo nice (or it’s just me) I had to share!

They look nice indeed, what are you going to print next?

This is a boardgame base… A lot of pieces coming after this

What are you printing on?

What material are made from those light blue pads under the Z-axis Stepper motors? (Please)

@Keith_Applegarth a removable brass plate, the exact dimensions as the Al table (to which the PCB is fastened with s spring screws). Makes it easy to remove anything, no mater the size, cause I can bend it slightly. It also ads an extra layer of uniformization to heat distribution.

Plain glass?

@ioan_dascalescu the blue things are just cut pieces from my wife’s workout mat. It’s a cheap one and I sliced 5cm along the edge. This is so that the wooden table that holds the printer wouldn’t amplify all the vibrations - and now we can sleep during night prints.

@Keith_Applegarth brass, like what trumpets are made of

@Adrian_Ciubotariu I like it. I might have to do something similar to my m/c.
