Urgent help, I want to order a canvas bag for a friend, have you ever used a laser machine to engrave patterns on a canvas bag? I used the canvas bag bought by ZBAITU to do pattern engraving, why is it broken? But I saw the pictures they posted on Facebook. The machine is the same model as mine, but the effect is great…Can friends help me?
Looks like the laser power is set too high. Use that as a test piece, and reduce the power until you get the required result.

You are asking WHY it burned through the material? Time to put the projects down and do a little reading about how to use your laser and software. You have the POWER to learn.

Thanks! I will use the leftover scraps to change different speeds to try… but I am afraid that it will not be good for the laser module, because engraving this kind of cloth may catch fire at any time
I screwed up because I was in a rush…
lasers, both CO2 and diode, are all about how much power you put on a spot during a given time…
You can lower the time by increasing the speed but you can also lower the power output…
Interestingly, you can for example set to 100% power and move at 300mm/s and get X amount of power laid down into your material but at the same time you can do something like 10% power and 30mm/s and could get something close to the same power put into your material.
Every machine is different so you have to experiment and figure out what works for you and your machine. You have to make your own chart of what works for you.
