Last night’s print, a 12 sticks puzzle by @George_Hart from http://georgehart.com/puzzles/12-sticks.html. The print was done all in PLA on our OB1.4, 0.3 mm layers, 3 perimeters and top/bottom, 20% infill. Colors are metallic charcoal and bubblegum pink from Printrbot, tangerine and key lime from ProtoParadigm. The assembly process is quite cool - when starting, the triangles need to be held together with rubber bands, but by the time I worked the last stick into place the entire object was completely solid and self-supporting. I’m not sure I could get it apart again
I think this is a perfect example of why 3d printers are so awesome!
