Last Sunday I grabbed a bargain from ebay, a vector 3 printer for £50. Its one of those magazine weekly subscriptions where you get a new part every week for 2 years untill its complete. The original owner had built it and never used it. I had to completely rebuild it as there were a lot of mistakes made but after 2 nights of tinkering got it printing. I swapped the nozzle for a 0.3mm as I’ve only ever used 0.4 and the results are pretty sweet. Anyone else have 1 of these and are there any good mods for it?
Not even a manufacturers name plate, or is that still coming?
Its on the inside, bottom right, a red cube with V3 on it.
Looks like the program it was meant for fell apart or didn’t happen. Reading up on it, this is not how school programs work.
Didn’t know they had a school program. I know they had a lot of grumpy people because they had no 3d printer experience and made a hash of building them at home. No way on this earth I would have paid £630 over 2 years to build 1, I would have lost interest after a month. I think they are available direct and ready built for £400. They are a nice little desktop machine, just a pitty its not stand alone.
how much is it?
£699
