When discussing the differences with the RPi, there was no mention of the mounting holes. I’m not kidding when I say that this was a big issue for me.
@Jezra you mean the lack of holes on the original Pi?
@Drew_Fustini_pdp7 the lack on the original RPi, and the two on the more recent RPi. Two holes makes a line, three would make a plane. Fortunately, the beaglebone has always had 4 mounting holes, and this make putting the BB in a custom enclosure much easier.
yup, that is one of the reasons I prefer BBB over RPi. it was designed from the start to be a more appropriate device for embedded projects.
