Hi All
80% of the time when I power up my printer the reprap discount GLCD will produce this garbled display where as you can see from the picture is illegible.
I have checked the connections, voltage ect and all seem fine. I am a 1A 5v recom regulator on the board and the V1 (orange) shield. Has anyone seen this before and have any ideas what can be done to fix the issue

thanks
Brad

Hi
I have the same problem with this display
I noticed that if not connect the connector EXP2 the display works
Then connect the connector, and everything works just fine
This problem did not appear at once, when I checked the controller without a motor and all other such problems did not arise.
I do not have the original Smoothieboard
I use an analog MKS-SBASE
It may be necessary to shield the cable connected to the display
It looks like I’ve found a solution.
I have everything worked fine and corrected as soon as the speed in the configuration file.

I have the same board as the 2 of you, but I’m not as far along in getting it to work. If either of you has a moment to see my post (search mks sbase) and has any ideas that might help, I’d greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
Never mind. I have returned the board.
