Like any good paranoid printer owner,

Like any good paranoid printer owner, the first things that I’ve printed have been upgrades and spare parts for my printer. The drive gear on my extruder failed about 10 layers before this gear was finished. Fortunately the gear was finished enough to use. I also printed a mounting plate to replace that from the cupcake.

Lastly, a mount for the mechanical switches I’m using for end stops. Up until this, I just had the switch twist tied to the frame.

Did you design the parts yourself of did you download them from somewhere?

You’re not paranoid if they really ARE after you… XD

The drive gear is part of Greg’s adjustable extruder. The endstop mounts are my design. The mounting plate is my design to acommodate the old makerbot hotend design. It turns out that the plate is a bit too flexible. I need to print it thicker so that the frequent reverse to avoid ooze isn’t making the nozzle move.

The endstop mount is posted here, if you’re interested: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:124561

Thanks @Aaron_Eiche , I’ll check it out.
