I still don’t think I have it… Prints well but the first layer has stuff on it that the extruder catches on, and moving up makes a stringy mess

Try a little bit of Z lift during retractions. Not sure if Slic3r has this setting but I know Cura does.

@Andy_Castille when your working with tenths of a mm even the smallest increment can make the difference. I literally changed my offset by .01mm and the difference in quality is astounding. Once you get it close try doing increments of .01 to fine tune it. It is a little nerve racki g starti g ans stopping the printer a couple times but when you hit that perfect number you will not be dissapointed

@Joseph_Larson It is but the offset of the probe and nozzle needs to be set as part of the initial calibration.
