Looking for some help: I’m working on a redesign of a prosthetic hand and I want to use a flexible filament (doesn’t matter PLA or ABS) for the finger joints. I’m using an Afinia printer and running with an 8 Temperature Switch from Octave and wondering what flexible filament would be best for this?
It depends – there is some stuff out there that’s not quite “ninjaflex”; rather it’s called “semiflex”. It’s easy enough to print - we’ve even been able to print it even through bowden systems. It’s definitely harder than ninjaflex, but it’s still softer than nylons, etc.
