Looking for suggestions for the best all-around 3D printer to build.

Looking for suggestions for the best all-around 3D printer to build.

It has to:

  • Build volume 12x12x18
  • Proven quality prints ( when setup correctly )
  • Easy to source parts, small count preferably
  • Easy to assembly, fine tune ( specially belt )
  • It’s firmware and setting have need shared and proven to work
  • Can be enclosed easily
  • Heated bed
  • Automatic leveling

Thanks in advance

TAZ 6 probably meets most of those except maybe the build volume depending on what standard you are using.

I would say some variant of C-bot or D-bot.

Check out the Voron build. https://github.com/mzbotreprap/VORON

look at the original Prusa i3 MK2 - http://www.prusa3d.com

Not the cheapest and easiest to build but great community, well documented and well engineered.
