Looks better and better every day. I wish I could build faster. And the z leadscrew is not centered correctly.
Probably shouldn’t constrain the top of your Z screw unless you absolutely have to. Any bend in the screw will show up as a repeating wobble in the print. How long is the screw?
The screw ist absolut 230mm or so Theresa will be two constraints for the upper and the lower Part of the screw. I also use a flex coupling for backlash compensation.
You’ll get better print quality if you remove the top bearing. You’re over-constraining the screw and that causes the screw to push sideways on the Z stage and introduce print flaws.
How to implement backlash compensation then?
What backlash compensation? There’s no backlash with a vertical screw, you have gravity preload.

Did you buy that sheet of aluminum online? If so, where and how much was it?
Yes. I bought via eBay from a german manufacturer it costs about 12€. I had to machine it myself though as it was only a raw sheet of aluminum.
