Looks like Amazon now sells 3D printers and materials! (This might be old, but first time I’ve seen it)
If you try to sell your own they will take a 15% fee, not interesting.
(depends on countries)
Probably mainly China. China seems to excel at spamming all of amazon and ebay so that you can’t find anything from your own country.
There’s one listed by FelixRobotics. There’s not even a picture of a real product, only CAD-generated renderings (and poor ones at that). Would anyone be crazy enough to buy this?
a) they take a fee
b) i still don’t think we are talking about End Customer Devices (just speaking for myself, but haven’t seen a Printer yet that is plug&play without a LOT of fail prints)
c) most printers are: currently unavailable
d) there is a lot of “don’t buy this one” printers in there besides the lulzbot and maybe the felix. Dunno bout the afina
What about the materials? (I’m still a novice with 3D printing)
looks ok - still think it’s better to buy at folks that are passionate about 3d Printing
So the Felix is a “real” printer then (I searched for its website), I wonder why the Amazon product page only shows screen grabs from the CAD program used to model it. A real photograph would be much better.
BTW the Lulzbot AO-101 is no longer produced. It’s been replaced by the TAZ.
