looks like these guys created a free hand software and exports direct to their printer. the closest i have seen is the pirate3D guys. coincidently, their printer uses similar XYZ format (like ultimaker)
other than direct doodling printers, has anyone seen similar “direct” draw and print software? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GufHKp8Ogjo

yea sort of, but in software. just randomly draw something freehand and maybe print it, maybe stretched on Z axis.
