looks like these guys created a free hand software and exports direct to their printer. the closest i have seen is the pirate3D guys. coincidently, their printer uses similar XYZ format (like ultimaker)

yea sort of, but in software. just randomly draw something freehand and maybe print it, maybe stretched on Z axis.
Cubify Draw for the iPad does this.
