Lots of software to use in 3D printing. People are often intimidated by the sheer amount of options available to them. But like I tell everyone: Options are good!
I’d argue that Kiss produces better prints too. It’s gcode is certainly tidier than Slic3r, allthough slic3rs is improving. It also allows you to constrain max and min flow rates which is very useful when printing at very high/low speeds/layer heights as it won’t allow you to go slower/faster than your extruders capability. It also slices very quickly and doesn’t require a reslice for certain parameter changes.
+1 for the Kisslicer, its just too bad that the forums have been overrun by bots causing a shutdown. I would actually warn anyone from purchasing the full version at least until the dev picks up the project again.
